become a member

WFLTA membership includes membership to the Pacific Northwest Council for Languages (PNCFL).

Membership Types:
All memberships expire each year on Sept 15
  • Regular Membership
  • Student or Retired Teacher
Benefits of membership include discounted registration at our annual conference in the Fall, workshops at WFLTA Conference, and a professional community full of resources, including access to curriculum from various sources state-wide. In order to apply or to be nominated for our yearly WFLTA awards which serve as our state nominations for the corresponding yearly PNCFL awards (Teacher of the Year & New Teacher of the Year), you must be a current member for 3 consecutive years, according to PNCFL requirements.  The WFLTA award for Friend of Foreign Language does not require membership. Your membership dues go toward paying for our conference keynote speakers, all associated WFLTA conference costs, World Languages Advocacy when necessary, yearly PNCFL dues, and website maintenance.
